PPML. Perspectives from the Industry. Event by CeADAR

Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning (PPML) is the umbrella term used to describe Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) that can protect individuals’ data privacy in data analysis. With vast amounts of data being collected from online and offline resources, significant challenges in preserving privacy have emerged. Both industry and academia are trying to catch up with these technologies, and great work is being done.

Join us on May 12, 2022 (Thursday) at 11:00 CET for a discussion about PPML with some industry experts to review some of the progress achieved to date by these companies. The panel will consist of IBM talking about their seminal work on differential privacy, Oblivious.AI talking about secure enclaves and Inpher.io discussing their secret computing PET. Following a brief description of these PETs, we will have a short panel discussion, then we will open up the floor for the audience to ask questions.
