HCAIM (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the HCAIM website (the “Service”).
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.
These policies cover all the HCAIM websites, domains and subdomains. Although you can browse through most of the website without giving any personal information, in some cases, information is required to provide the e-services you request.

You directly provide HCAIM with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Sign up to obtain information to subscribe to our newsletter
- Register and participate in one of our online or offline events, programmes
- Sign up to pre-enrol in our Master’s Programme or request more information
What data do we collect?
We collect the following information from the pre-enrollment form and user contact form: name, last name, email and phone.
For the newsletter, we collect the following information: name, last name, email, affiliation, name of the organization/school
How will we use your data?
We collect your data to send you the information you have requested, inform you of changes to our terms and conditions, where relevant, or email you with information when you have asked us to.
This can facilitate your participation in our events and contribute to the exchange of information you may need.
How do we protect your data?
We put in place measures to ensure that the information you provide is treated in full compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 on personal data protection.
Data will not be shared with any other organization – commercial or otherwise except in case of external consultancy related to the website. In such cases, appropriate measures will be implemented.
We will never divulge your data for direct marketing purposes.

According to the GDPR, you, as the data subject, have the following rights towards us with regard to personal data concerning you:

We do not keep your personal information for longer than necessary for the purposes we collect it. However, we may keep your data for a more extended period for historical, statistical or scientific purposes with the appropriate safeguards in place.
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

Art. 6 par. 1 point (f) GDPR (legitimate interest) is the legal basis for processing personal data by using session cookies. Without using the session cookies especially, several functions could not be offered on our website.
HCAIM is active on four social media platforms: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. These communities strengthen our online presence and visibility.
We do not set cookies with the display of links to our social media channels when you are browsing our website. Still, by clicking on the social media buttons on our website, you will be redirected to those websites with their own cookie and privacy policies over which we have no control.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.
The HCAIM project may use services offered by third companies, such as MailChimp (https://mailchimp.com). In these cases, these companies’ privacy policies are also applicable, and the user must read and be aware of the privacy policies published on their websites.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our servers immediately.
